I narrowed my problem down to the cord plug on my trolling motor or the trolling motor itself. Academy on my end didnt have a plug in stock. I have one on order with one day delivery for friday. Tomorrow ill go to the other academy to see if they have it in stock. If not ill put the one from amazon on friday evening. If that doesnt fix it, academy has my trolling motor in stock

So, did your uncle go to Martin? I am trying to find a place to go otherwise I will have to go play golf. I assume the high muddy will kinda mess everything up around here.

He went and said that he caught nothing but grass and thst i didnt miss anything. And thst man always catches fish. So i probably wont be in hurry to go back. However it was nice out there, but the water was cloudy. Id suggest one of the bayous instead.

I'm hoping to go out there Wednesday afternoon in the kayak. I know someone that fishes there often from a kayak and he's been catching some good ones. I don't know what part of the lake though. He won't give it that up.

I think I might know where he's been based on his picture. I guess I'll find out if I go.

We fished lake Martin this morning and caught one bass. That Place is beautiful but the Dead Sea. However, it is so convenient that I will be back to try and figure it out.

I have a love/hate relationship with that lake. When it's on, it's hard to beat it. When it's off (which seems to be most of the time) it can drive you nuts.

Went with a couple buddies to Chicot Park this morning. We smashed the bass. Caught 13 keepers. Its not often people catch that many numbers in one trip there, its usually three or four big fish. But we were on em this morning.

Dang, might have to make a trip up there in a couple weeks. I have a week off in a couple weeks and plan on catching up on some fishing.

We threw weightless senkos. Caught on a few different colors. Just find some trees and throw into the base of em and let it sink. Its slow fishing but it paid off today.

Heck, I really want to make a trip to Henderson. Even with the high water a friend of mine has been catching his limit almost every day. Crankbaits and A-rigs. I know almost all of his spots too!

Yeah, his spots aren't exactly super secret or anything. They're widely known. I fish a lot of the same areas. Just gotta narrow down what's productive. Well, a couple of his pictures gave it away. I know exactly where he was catching. And it's spots that I fish often.
