Just got in the stand. Millergirl's first ever hunt, gonna try to get her to kill something hopefully. 2 does and a fawn so far, feeder hasn't gone off yet though.

How old you got him at? 4.5? What age do y'all shoot your deer at. What age do y'all start culling at? I've got lots of questions lol.

He's got short tines but he's 16 or 17 inches wide. Looks 2.5 to me.

We start culling spikes at 1.5 and have basically an age group criteria for every age after. If they don't meet it, they are culled.

How old will you let that 10 get before shooting him? A lot of places are starting to go 7.5 and 8.5 on high fence places that feed protein.

We shoot our trophies at 6.5 usually, they go on a pretty steep decline after that here from what I've seen.
