Kill the dandelions in my yard but not all of the green stuff

OK so long story short, every year I weed and feed my yard but my yard ends up being mostly all dead and Brown. This is because as much as I don’t want to admit it, half of the green stuff in my yard are actually weeds. I really don’t mind that, because when I cut my grass it all looks green in the grass. The problem is that I have dandelions everywhere and they look like shite.
So how can I kill the dandelions without killing everything green and having a brown yard?

kill all the weeds and nurture the grass.
and stop "weed and feed" until most of the weeds are dead.

I know that’s the “right answer”. But if I kill all the weeds I’m going to have a brown muddy crappy yard all spring and half the summer.
I should’ve done what you said a few months ago. I know this because I killed the weeeds and nurtured the grass this time last year. Had a crappy brown yard most of the summer, a nice looking yard for about a month. In Plano btw

Cheap way: Kill everything you see now with 2-4-D (weed free zone or speed zone),spread Bermuda seed in April.
Best way: kill everything with roundup now, re-sod with your choice of grass.

How long will that take?
As in. Will I have grass in a month

With the sod route, roundup the yard and wait 4 to 5 days. Weed eat it to the dirt. Rake the mess. Lay sod on day 5-7. So, you'll have a great yard in 7 days.
With the kill it with roundup and seed it, you would lay the seed after 5 to 6 days. Give it a month and you will have grass growing everywhere. It won't be great yet, but it will be on its way.

As someone who grew bermuda from seeds..... you'll be better off doing nothing and remedying your lawn in the fall.
Weeds WILL grow with the seeds especially if you fertilize.
Remember if grass can grow, so can weeds, especially when they are competing against juvenile shoots.
Add in the fact that new growth grass is susceptible to any herbicide and you're back at square one.
