Kawasaki mule sx is 2 years old. It keeps stopping on me, but will restart in a little while. Thought it was trash in fuel line so I blew out . Keeps happening. What else could it be? I do t know a whole lot about engines before I get ragged.

According to their website they have a 3 year warranty. Bring to have it serviced.

Nah, I better not, I'm sure everybody's heard it anyway. It's about a guy that bought a mule to ride, that kept stopping.

next time it stops remove the gas cap right away and listen if you hear sucking air, if it does the the vent is clogged

other thing to check (if it has one) is the electric shut off solenoid under the carb float bowl, it could be bad not letting gas flow so all you have is whats in the bowl and then it dies

I drained tank and cleaned today. It hasn’t stalled yet. Will try these suggestions if it does again.

You can pull that and cut the tip of that plunger off with a hacksaw and put it back.

i never suggest bypassing safety switches unless its absolutely necessary and it isnt here

plus it serves a purpose as a backfire preventer so when you shut it off you dont get the occasional backfire which can cause other issues like blowing a leak in the diaphragm in the carb

if you saw a lot of cloudy stuff in the gas or anything that looks funny its good to drop a handful of nuts in it and sloshing it around to scrub off any layers of residue in the tank but be sure to take off the fuel shutoff valve so the screen doesnt get messed up. it probably needs cleaning as well
