OP, keep in mind that the average weight of a male boxer is 70 pounds. They are more athletic than they are strong. They are typically rather lean muscle. Don't expect to have a 100 pound beast on your hands. There may be exceptions, but I'm just telling you the rule (norm).

Yeah ours was a definite exception. Every time we went to a breeder and showed ours, they were mesmerized by his size and collar. They normally aren't that big. My female is about 60 lbs.
