Some nice rigs in here. I've got a JKU with a TeraFlex 4" lift and 35" Cooper Discoverer STTs on the way. Obligatory PSC Brawler lite front bumper and Warn M-8000, as well.

In the market for a set of wheels (Mickey Thompson Classic II's or XD Addicts, I'm thinking) and a rear-bumper. Cheers.

This was my 04 TJ. All it had was a 4 inch fabtech suspension lift and mickey thompson baja claw 33's. I had plans to do a lot more to it, but I never got around to it. I sold it a couple months ago.

I miss it some days, but it went towards the purchase of our bay boat so that eases the pain

Terraflex rear tire carrier

At the Camp. I removed the back seat and put the hard top back on to keep my gear in it for hunting season

I just jumped back in as an owner with an 88 YJ. I have a lot of work to do. It has been sitting for a few years at a hunting camp, but I got a decent deal on it, so I figure it will be a good project.

I will be buying a new front drive shaft very soon. I noticed some grease slinging out the seal. Nothing is ripped but it does force out the grease due to the new angle of the driveshaft after the lift. I will run it until after Christmas. If it fails before I buy the new one, I'll just pull it and order the new one right then. This reason is why I went with 2.5" lift instead of 3 or 3.5. No need to replace driveshafts or control arms and such. Now that I am replacing the shaft, I guess I can start to save and think of another lift in the future.

New bumpers front and rear, fenders (maybe flat, don't like the painted), and off road lights will be my next items as well. Maybe some coil spacers after the bumpers are installed.

Well my buddy who is a jeep fanatic said the 83 was a transition year between 76-82 and 84-86. Some thing only fit from the early years and some from the later years. Thats what i meant by bad year. not necessarily "bad"

Not necessarily....

83 is the last year of the CJ5.

The CJ7 was produced from '76 to '86, with '82 being the year it was switched to wide track axles.

In reality, CJs of that era were manufactured by AMC so, things don't always fit, regardless of specific model year.

I like your set-up man. How do you like that TeraFlex rear tire carrier? Easy to install? I'm debating between shelling out for a carrier or new rims next, and that ones on my list.
