I have a 21' semi v custom alum hull and just put a 200 ETec on the back. Now i'm wanting to put a jack plate. Would like the boards opinions on the following:
Brand?
Hydraulic or Electric?
I want at least 8" of travel and a minimum of set back, what options do i have?
Best place to buy?

If you are going to use it to find a certain setting and leave it, get manual. If using to change motor height for different conditions, get hydraulic. I say that and cannot make mine move at all.
