It’s December hunting season

Is half way over. No cold weather. No ducks down.. I don’t know about you fellas but hunting sucked so far this year. It’s so fricking foggy today I feel like I’m in a hot boxed car

This is the craziest thing of it all. I was having a hard time driving around Sherburne yesterday morning because I couldn't see anything. Turning my head lamp on once I did make it into the woods was useless. Heard flocks of geese flying right over the treetops that I could not see. I've never seen anything like that before.
Thankfully, I have church as an excuse for not going this morning. Lol!

Man at least we can hunt. It’s south Louisiana it’s never cold all the time. I’m pretty thankful we have had some cold weather so far.
On a plus side have see. Two deer this am way less foggy than yesterday here.

Good. December is the only month worth deer hunting for me. I’ve only ever killed one buck in November ever. I did kill my biggest ever buck in January, but by far I see the most action in December.

According to the lunar calendar, today should be the best day of the season for deer hunting. I'll be there in the mornin.
