re: IST-IBT

We had a great hunt going. Saw a 6pt and 3 does. 6pt was too quick for Jr. to get a shot on. We had a doe at 175 yards, too far for him to shoot. Got about time for us to get down and I let him talk me into shooting the doe. I did, and dropped her in her tracks. I watched her for about 5 minutes. She flopped a little but was apparently down for the count. We climbed down and went back to the house to get a wheeler. Get back, she's gone. Put the dog on her and he trails her to the banks of Lake Lafourche, which she either swam or got out in and drowned. Nothings sucks let hitting and losing a damn deer.

Balls, I guess you missed Zombieland.

will be hunting for the next 5 days though!

I have a nice 8 that I have found blood on but no deer yet. Going to get the lab. Called him in with mix of doe bleat and grunt. He had freshened up his scrapes this am. Spread is just outside the ear. Wish me luck in finding him.

Had a good hunt in the woods this mornin lots teal woodies and grey. Not many mallard but Im' not suprised with it bieng the holiday and what you will.

Had some sugarass in my first choice of spots when I rolled into the hole, nice fella. Mad my way to PLAN B and nobody skybusted or hailcalled, very enjoyable hunt. No problem with a little fella like that guy beatin me to the hole, respecatable hunter.

This occured South of Monroe, east of lake charles, and west of the mississippi river. See yall there
