Wakefield
Ground blind along hardwood/pine transition with corn feeder
61* (feels like 78 with this extra layer on), wind S 5
336 Marlin 30-30
Merry Christmas fellas! After quality time with family, Ms Field cleared me hot for an afternoon hunt. Con’d one of my home-from-college twin daughters into hunting with me (definitely no pics). Have always been skeptical of hunting during full moon, but suppose I’m playing with house money given several hours to catch up with my daughter.
Good luck to any of you hunting this afternoon. Keep those deployed in harms way in your thoughts and enjoy the rest of your Christmas night....Semper Fi

Missed a big bodied 8 this morning because my dumbass didn’t practice with new ammo.

Tangipahoa
70 degrees
Remington 700 .270
Make shift ground blind on a rye grass field next to cutover
Both little ones are down for a late nap...otherwise this hunt wouldn’t be happening lol

Amite County MS
68*, SE Wind
Loud, rickety box at the edge of the woods, a rye grass field and a scrawny plot
7mm mag
About 400 yards to the SE are 6 chicken houses, so my cover scent is 110% taken care of
All I want for Christmas is a trophy buck, a trophy buck

Amite county Ms
Took my middle one to sit on the creek.
10 minutes after we sit down he has to pee.
Take care of that and then again at 515. Needless to say we didn’t see squat. I found out the little booger drank a coke 20 minutes before we left.
