Yes one is 2 houses down from the armadillo and the other is 3 houses down. There has been a push to clean up the bypass road with a steady police presence which seems to be working. (I have taken that road for 25 years without ever having any issues). With that being said thers are 3 other roads you can take to get to Burma rd. You bitching bout the white trash yet talking bout putting a trailer on a piece of land

I know you can get there through low land and from waterplant, but I live in raceland so st Charles bypass is the quickest way. im surprised some people actually live in some of those trailers close to the canal
I just want the land trailer till we can afford to build.
I wish I knew who some of these land owners were back there to get permission to hunt back there, looks like a bunch of good property that no one messes with.

I know I was just picking. There are a few deer by my parrents. My cousin and neighbor have a lot of average surrounding my dads place neither of which is hunted. We see deer from time to time in the pastures.

I see they have a big arse pond down pouldeau ln right past the armadillo on google earth. I was planning on going put out cameras behind the inlaws just to see if they had anything back there, but I see tracks every time I go walk. wish I knew who owned everything back there.

edit: inlaws neighbor is older and moved in with his girlfriend, wish his kids would sell me that house... except I would be neighbors to the inlaws...

That's for the Robichaux's. My parrents back up to that. As a kid I would kill the wood ducks right at dark as they flew over our property to go there to roost. They have Millions of pouldeau and a few ducks. I don't think they even hunt it anymore. Typical people that have it all don't utilize their resources. There are also lots of deer back there which have not been hunted in years. They all hunt along the river around Tensas.

The property you speak of is also owned by the Robichaux's. They owned everything back here years ago and subdivided it into big lots in the 80's

I know who your talking about. His parrents are loaded and would never sale that though. That would be the perfect place to carry out your plan though.

No the ones who own The construction company that just moved from Burma rd. You could ask but I know them well and they aren't looking to let anyone hunt there.

all that land and they don't use it and don't let anyone else use it, hate people like that

I ride the four wheeler back there all the time and bring the wife shoot the pistols and never ran into that trailer.

Thanks guys. Had no trail cam pics of this buck and was only really hunting in that stand because we had a few culls in that area. Goes to show you what can happen during the rut and to hunt hard.
