My son is going to the barn stand behind the house. You can see in a couple hundred yards in 2 directions. Lots of feeding activity to the east of it.
Browning BLR 7mm08 with handloads.

I’ve sent about 15-20 letters out to land owners around Covington, Folsom and Madisonville. Received a few responses, one was on a piece in Covington where he said he had a buddy that hunts it. Wonder if that’s you haha. Anyway, good luck to all, this crisp morning has me itching to be in a tree.

Theres always lake ramsay wma if you dont get the responses you want. Ive killed one out there but never made it to the river which ive heard the deer are more plentiful nearby if you are willing to walk

Yeah I've hunted that once or twice when I lived on Penn Mill. I may go check that out this weekend if I get some time.

How’d it go?
I dunno if you saw my post in the thread from the other day. My 2 year target buck was at 18 yards and didn’t give me a shot last Friday. He was in there again this afternoon. Hoping he does it again tomorrow.

They've gone 100% nocturnal this week. Same deer moving but just from 7pm-5am. Got a new heavy 6pt with a base kicker showed up last night. I did see your post. Keep after. You’ll get him. Especially that he didnt spook. He’s in there
