Box Blind with a fresh tank for Mr. Buddy
.270 Winchester Model 70

There have been a couple sightings of a tall 8, and also a big forkhorn, I’d like to remove, but will take a doe if presented. Hope this weather has the testosterone flowing. Be safe fellas

You set up your saddle in the dark or the day before a morning hunt?

I have several pre-set sticks and I just climb up and hang out. It’s way more comfortable for long sits than a loc on it may be more comfortable than a office chair because with just a slight moment you go from sitting to standing/leaning

12ga in the duck woods.
Clear calm and cool 38°

Last weekend my pup got limber tail and is getting over it. Missing my hunting buddy. Got 5 so far. No win making it tough to get birds to work. I’m in a slough/open timber.

Hang in there. They are on their feet. They will be all over. You will catch him slippn.

I slept in since i got the buck yest evening. Best part about finally getting one, can be lazy and evening hunt only if i want im one that ill hunt morning and evening non stop til i get something. And after a few weeks look and feel like death because of it. Im hard headed. But now that i got one i can take some mornings off.

Good luck everyone, weather and deer are right, right now

He came out on me about 30 min ago at 120 yards out. Walked down the powerline arse to me the whole time. Had him in the crosshairs for over a minute until he disappeared into the darkness from the fog, sunrise and rolling powerline.

I’ve never been so tempted. I just knew he’d stop and turn though. Damn the fog.

Not my proudest moment but as a 14-15yr old I was sitting on the stand early at about 2pm and dozed off for a few mins and woke up and looked over my shoulder to a 125in 10pt walking into a thicket.
75 yards out texas heart shot he hunched up and turned I shot him inthe shoulder ,, he staggered and I shot him in the neck.
150gr Nosler partion 270win went length ways and was on the skin by the brisket it made a messss!!!
