Doe crossed the road at 9. Not long after a buck came out sniffing around where she crossed. Wasn't gonna be picky and decided to let him have it. High lung shot and jumped him once but judging from the blood coming out his nose he drowned not long after. 3 yr old 15" 8 pt. Not much in tine length

Blessed to have the meat and opportunity

-13 with a -26 wind chill this AM. Deer aren't moving in this cold but did see a buck with some does on the walk through timber.

Hey Sport. Thought you might give us an update on the progress of this labor. It's been 8 hours since water broke. What gives???

I was born on the opening morning of deer season on a perfect cold, still day. My dad went hunting that morning, and had to rush to the hospital when I decided to come early. He is in full camo in all my hospital baby pics

Same set up as yesterday, bumped one of the bucks walking in, he trotted 10 yards and layed back down. Hope he has short term memory!

Fished my damn ground blind out of the pond and the damn roof was torn straight off. Must of went through a few trees on the way down to the pond. Needless to say, I'm not hunting that spot with no roof in this wind. Back to the box stand, have 3 nice bucks on camera here that like to eat at night. So I'm out of a ground blind and probably won't see much this afternoon. But a day in the woods, is better than one spent at home, especially with the season drawing to a close.

Good luck OB and stay safe
