Went for a walkabout. Saw 6 flocks of geese heading south. Most I seen so far this year. Guess that cold front is going to push a lot of birds down.

Skipped hunting in the heat. We have still been dealing with trespassers so I took this time to build a gate.
The local problem family from earlier this year is furious and is claiming to take us to court...for a gate I built well within my lease...He's retarded...

I'm tired of it for sure. People think they can go back there since you can drive right up it. It's mind blowing.
The gate is 2.75" pipe, 3' in the ground and a bag of cement in each. I'm going to connect all the poles with 5/8" cable. If someone wants past that then they earned it

Marlin Goose Gun loaded down with #4 buck.
First dog hunt of the year for me. A couple guys got tickets last weekend. And the game warden is sitting on the road again today, so we have to everything by the book.
We're on our 3rd run and only had 1 jump so far, but nobody got a shot. The guy walking the dogs says he knows a little pack of 4 does live in the block we're running right now, so hopefully it's about to get good!
