Summit lock on in some pines.

Just hunting for horns. Really came to hang some sticks for next week. But if I catch a good one slipping, I’ll be picking up my shite!

I normally just bow hunt but it has been a tough year. Not seeing many deer and we have not killed a buck this season. Looking for a good buck

Tripod on our isolated piece. Creek behind is flowing. Could take a nap! Full of some big does. Hopefully one drags a buck along.

Ended up seeing a doe, spike and 4pt. 4pt was a nice looking young deer. No brow tines.

Area 2 public
58° slight east wind
28 nosler

In my saddle in some pretty thick woods that I’ve never hunted. I skipped the morning hunt because I was exhausted and needed a break. Ran into a guy on my way to the spot I wanted to hunt, and he said his brother was past him. I didn’t want to mess them up, so I backed out and came to this area. Found a decent rub line in here and set up. You never know.
Good luck!

My old man turned 75 today. Had dinner with him and our kids. Good day. Anybody seeing much movement? Daylight pics here in Covington area are nonexistent
