So were these your early misfortunes or did they come later?
If later, you deserve a large C&C.

Glad you got back out, FT. Scared up a few dozen ducks in a patch of flooded timber on the way to my stand. Now I think I’m gonna strap on my waders in the morning.

Thanks. Woodies? Haven’t seen near as many on our place this year. Kinda strange

Yeah, woodies and pintails just floating around quacking and eating. Only saw three at first, so I go back to grab my shotgun and jump em. Missed the pintails I wasn’t aiming at and about 30 ducks fly off.

Had I known I would’ve let em Be and snuck in early in the AM with waders. Wonder if they’ll come back by tomorrow?

Truck broke down on me this morning headed to the camp. Got it running only to pull into the truck stop and realize I left my credit card on the bar at the restaurant me and the wife ate at last night. Had enough diesel to get to the camp and get some out the bulk tank. Made it 200 yards from the camp on my 4wheeler and it ran out of gas. Didn’t have a can filled so just walked to the closest stand.

Truck wasn’t fixed because it shut down on me twice on the interstate. Luckily I found the issue. 15amp dude was loose for the ignition. That’s why hitting bumps would make the truck shut off

Pretty much what I told my brother in law today as he was fueling up to come get me in BR. “One day I’ll get my shot together but it ain’t today”

Your luck runs like mine, make sure what you shoot at is exactly what you think!
Frickin' fuse, WHF!
Had a similar fuel issue once, it involved getting towed to a station in FLA, waiting till Whitney opened and a long distance call to said bank.

Having too much shite going on at once causes simple mistakes.

Might make that my New Years resolution.

Btw, I ain’t seen shite this evening. Kinda shocked
