It actually fell off when I was strapping the horns on. Finished the job and put it back on the back leg. Thanks for your concern though

never found the deer. Looked last night almost 2 hrs and another 2 today. Never found blood nor hair, so i believe my buddy just missed. Feel bad for him, would have been his first buck. The buck fever got the best of him

I was just giving you a hard time. LA's tag laws amaze me coming from someone who has exclusively hunted MS.

I always see the tags on the horns of bucks killed on the Louisiana Bowhunter page and think about all the threads on here of people bitching about getting busted.

Congrats on the buck.

Amite County MS
~69*, S wind
Box on small green patch
7mm mag

Got three nephews out here and all three plots covered.
Buddy saw a rack chasing a doe yesterday evening here right at dark.
Hopefully he’s still chasing/looking today

Tag laws are selective. I can understand the use of it but it should be a warning in 99% of the cases unless the violator has multiple offenses

Saw 2 old men in court one day with tickets for not having tags. Judge gave them a $10 fine + cost of court.
