Box stand watching long lanes

Checked the duck hole on the way to stand yesterday. Zero ducks. Not a hardcore duck hunter at all, but would be nice to get in a good hunt before it ends.

According to the Fishing&Hunting Solunar app, my spot is a 93% day, which is excellent. Of course, I’m at work ( ) but good luck to all today!

was seeing LOTS of deer on my cell cam up until Friday afternoon in W. Feliciana. Now hardly seeing anything, even at night. it's like someone flipped a switch. Really odd.

I love setting up for deer hunting in flooded timber just so I can watch the ducks as I hunt. I had hundreds of them next to me on the last few hunts. Of course, the area I was at was closed for duck hunting, and it seems like the ducks knew it .

I find the solunar tables are great for fish, really good. Deer, not so reliable......IMO.

Same here. I just try my best to set up close to bedding and on a path they use for food. And I play the wind as much as possible so my scent doesn’t travel to their bedding. If you can find those areas, you’ll see deer almost every hunt. If you can’t find those areas, it’s a total crapshoot.
