Yes, around 11am this morning. Went for a walk about, jumped a big arse hog and missed that sucker. Turn around, the buck was chasing a Doe not more then 75 yards away up wind. The buck hooked back and I dropped his arse with one shot on the run at about 75 yards.

He tipped the scale at 236 lbs. One of the biggest body deer I ever killed.

Where's cat island? I'm fishing fairly close to woolen lake outside Hebert. All I know is you turn by a church and go into Bouef WMA. Fairly good day though

Thanks. I been passing up a bunch. There is another big one in the area that has been fighting this one. This one had some big war cuts. He was stabbed right above his right eye and his lower lip was split a good 1". Had a couple cuts in his neck too!
I'm hoping my daughter gets the other one tomorrow. That would be real sweet.
