I need a new solenoid and have the info from Toro, but looking for the best/cheapest place to order from.

Timecutter 480Z toro 106-8245
Found this on themowershop.com for $47.50
Have seen it as low as $33, but not familiar with some of the websites/companies.

Any recommendations from sites you have ordered mower parts from?

TIA

SLE is a good website to find specific parts

generic parts like a starter solenoid cost $7 on ebay with free shipping and belts go for around $12-$15 and blades average $10 each

I'd try this. Just a 12v relay.

Repairclinic.com should have it at reasonable cost

Are you serious? They have great videos but their parts are usually ridiculously overpriced.

Agree with this also. Any generic 12v solenoid should work fine. I replaced one on an old Troy Bilt riding mower once and cost $8 from local auto parts store be $40-50 brand specific.

The mfg gets this part from hold on CHINA prewired up to a wiring harness. The assembly line workers slap the whole harness on. You can probably match it to an aftermarket solenoid which will be the exact style for a few bucks less.
