Is GunBuyer a legit site?

I have never ordered a gun online and done an FFL transfer. Hoping to order a Ruger from gunbuyer but want to make sure they are a reputable site first. Anyone use them before?
Also, any recommendations on a FFL location on the northshore would be greatly appreciated.

It is. I’ve purchased several firearms through it. Price is often as inexpensive as you’ll find and no credit card surcharges.

GunBuyer is a legit site, but it's also the only online buying site that's on my "do not order from" list. 5 years ago or so I ordered a Kahr 9mm from them. It was difficult to find the gun at other dealers. It was my first time to buy from them. At the time I ordered, the site showed the gun was in stock. The details of what happened were always kinda murky to me, but suffice it to say it wasn't actually in stock. IIRC, the site showed multiple warehouses w/ different inventories. The price was very good. Customer service was weak in trying to fix the problem. I gave them a deadline to have the gun en route or cancel my order. They failed to meet the deadline and never shipped it, but they did refund my money. Maybe they've fixed that problem, but I'd watch their inventory carefully if you order from them.

Thanks everyone. I ordered today and it has already shipped. Had to call them because it said I had not selected an FFL but they answered and quickly got it sorted out. So far so good.

Bought a Ruger LCP Max to pocket carry. IWB carry doesn’t fit my lifestyle with young kids etc. and hoping this will give me another option. My buddy got one and I liked it so I pulled the trigger (pun intended).
