Appreciate it - any issues, ride quality, belt/cvt, noises, etc

No issues with mine so far. It rides awesome. Seats are super comfortable. Belt and CVT seem to be solid. I've towed a lot with it and I haven't had to change the belt yet. Keeping it in low & work mode really helps with heavy weight. I don't notice any out of the ordinary noises, but I have the northstar so it's enclosed.

The main complaints I have are just accessory related stuff. For instance the 25 models came with the same bumper as the 1500xd. So you could add the Polaris flood lights in the bumper that fit perfect and look really clean. Well the wiring harness doesn't fit the 1000s so I had to rewire the harness. Not to mention the lights are garbage for $300.00.

I noticed the bumper matched the 1500 - had a hard time finding brush guard accessories that fit. Does the 1000 not have the "pulse bar" deal under the hood to tie lights into? planning on getting an LED bar

Kubota Sidekick is the greatest farm side by side made- I have one…you can honestly put 1000 lbs in the bed and it stays stable at 40 mph. It’s pretty cool- handles like a truck, but no 4 seat option and not much aftermarket for it.

Have owned and ridden in just about every brand and type of rigs and after many years we prefer Kawasaki for side by sides and Honda for four wheelers. The Kawasaki is not as fancy as the Polaris or Can-Am but is built a bit heavier duty and has a more reliable drivetrain. We purchased our most recent Mule FXT in June of '23 and have already put over 5000 miles on it around the ranch with no issues. This is in central texas with rock, hills, and bottom land

Yes it has the pulse bar under the hood. I think it was the actual switch that was not compatible. I can't remember exactly what it was. Either way they are not bright at all for the money. I would go aftermarket like the Kenimoto lights.

I put a small single Rough country light bar in the hold in the bumper and it's legit for being so small.

I would also recommend the rear roof light. I went with an amazon one and it's legit as well. Super bright, and I use it all the time. It lights up the bed and anything behind when reversing at night.

Mule 4010 is the goat work driven sxs. The Trans was $10k for years, now they are $14k. Not the value they once were, but still a great machine.

...if you're ok doing 25mph.

Name a single car with a transmission that works in that manner.

I'll wait.

The XP and most premium 1000 have the pulse bar.

Looking for opinions on Polaris Ranger XP 1000 vs Can-Am HD10 XMR after selling my Ranger 2018 Ranger XP 900.

I’ve had Honda and Polaris and the Polaris (1000XP) is more reliable, more capable, and better designed and built. I never had a can am but I test drove and couple and though they look badass, the clutch and shifting and starting and stopping made me think they were pieces of shite.

Go test out a Mule Pro and a Honda and a Polaris and pick which one you like more. Nothing wrong with Honda or Kawasaki but for my money I’m going Polaris.

To be fair... There's a few things wrong with all three.

Mule: boring. Low on power. Awful to drive.
Pioneer 1k: HOT, weirdly problematic air/fuel components, bangs and clanks.
Ranger: most are pretty good. But on the off chance you get a bad one... You'll replace all bearings and seals before you should need to.

I've had all three. I just got a 2025 ranger. It's quiet, smooth, and it doesn't mind working.

It can be done, but it won't look great. Especially the bed panels. They have some recessed areas that would be impossible to make look like paint. Best thing to do is wait for the right color or pull the panels and get them painted. I do wraps for a living and I won't do side by sides, four wheelers, or golf carts anymore.

My bad, you're right. The 700's 3 speed with torque convertor is an automotive type transmission. The 1000 is hondas DCT transmission.

That's possible. I live in Hammond.

I don't think I know anyone with a camo 25 Ranger though. Does your windshield open all the way with that lightbar mount? Here is mine.
