In Grand Isle - need help

Down for weekend. Buddy with me pulling his 24' boat had a spindle go out on one of his axles (tandem axle) -sorry if terminology is not correct. Have not seen it but had same thing happen to me in Alexandria one night heading to Toledo Bend- had to remove tire and strap axle up and limp in - don't want to do that all way back to BR. About to go over there and take a look. Anyone know of a shop in GI or Fourchon. Will check the Nappa in Fourchon or maybe Okeefe hardware in golden meadow. Any other suggestions?

Go to the Sureway Grocery in the am. I guarantee they can tell where to go.

Sureway will definitely help. They used to have a NAPA on Santiny or Chighizola Lane I think but not sure if they are still open. Buggy at Bridgeside Marina could help too. With all of the boat trailers on the island, someone is looking to make a buck on something like this.

Call the guys at Tom tire in Golden Meadow. There's a place on old hwy in golden meadow that has trailer parts. Can't remember name off hand, but they are open on Sat. Across canal from Keifs down a little ways.
