I've had a Gravely commercial for 5 years. Never had a problem. I cut about 5 acres with it.
Same here all I do is change blades my yard eats them up!

I have a Kubota diesel ZD21 with a 60" deck. No problems so far.

Love my Dixie Chopper. Probably not the prettiest cut, but fine for my application (country home, hills, rough terrain, etc). Has never let me down, easy to maintain, will go through anything. Ugly as hell and I love it more each time I crank it up!

Dixie Chopper's is what i use in my lawn biz, cuts wet grass better then any other IMO and is much lighter in weight, and will not leave tire marks in wet grass as well, a bit expensive, but if you buy one and take care or it your grand children will be using it.
ed3303 i cut yards for some of the pickiest people you will ever meet, if my Chopper did not have a great cut i would be out of business, believe me it's not the mower if it's set up properly.

Fish N Tiger - Yeah, I am sure it is operator error. I don't keep the blades as sharp as I should and I tend to pivot on one tire rather than rotate each tires opposite directions, and I have never touched the deck adjustments so you probably nailed it.
That is exactly why I love it, I can just check the fluids and filters, hop on and blow through my 4 acres like a Tasmanian Devil on crack!

I would like to do that too, but would not make much money..
you can get Chopper blades for under 50 bucks, that alone would improve the look of your property. What model,hp, and size cut do you have ?
