Grainger also bends you over anytime you purchase something from them. I'd call a steel place like Capitol Steel in Baton Rouge or D&M Steel in Belle Chasse to double check those prices

how much that stuff costs
Go to a scrap yard and get some grating for next to nothing. Either fiberglass or metal grating. I'm not sure where you are located but call the offshore scrap yards. We decommission oil platforms and have tons of grating at those yards. I have a total of 40LF by 3' wide strips for my boat to go on. Got it for free.

You can buy a flatbed trailer without the wheels. That is idea if you have good support.
Did this and it works great. Cut the axles off and drag it across. Done

You need to get some creosote treated runners. The ones you show in your pic look like basic pressure treated boards from Home Depot. That stuff will dry and shrink. When wood dries, it shrinks and warps. Creosote lasts much longer. Contact a marine lumber supply company.
Waskey will bend you over the edge of that bridge before they even show up with a new bridge that is way more than you need for basic vehicles. The only reason you should even think about a Waskey type structure is if you will have industrial vehicles going over it. Then it MIGHT be worth it if you can charge it to the business.

Buy new treated boards and leave them stacked outdoors till summer or longer. If you give them time to shrink they should be fine, unless there is a lot of traffic. Most other options are a lot more expensive.
Someone put plate steel across ours and it is loud as hell when you drive across it. The metal pops up and down.

My dad has a very similar bridge on his property. If you have a stall frame supporting it then you already have a nearly perfect solution. I might work more on the approach and landing area on either side of the bridge to widen and fortify them. Lastly, install permanent railing. We used creosote for the railings too. Not sure if you actually need the runners on top. If you insist, I'd go with creosote there as well instead of treated lumber. You can get creosote through many fencing companies

Those 2x6's look like they'd get slick as owl shite. why not replace with creosote-treated runners?
