You’re WAY too caught up with warranty than quality. Get a Honda and you don’t need a warranty.

Doesn't matter, you run the carb dry no matter what fuel you put in it. Stabil, Startron, etc. all have additives that mske ethanol a non-issue and all small engines are built with parts now that don't care about ethanol either. Run E10 and leave it in the carb long enough and you'll get varnish and maybe a little rust in the bottom of the float bowl(though many are aluminum these days so that won't happen). Run E0 and you'll just get varnish. Fuel oxidizes when exposed to air, period. Stop relying on E0 to make up for lazy maintenance practices. I use Shell 89 octane E10, dose with Stabil for my 4-stroke yard equipment, and use that same fuel to make 2-stroke mix with Stihl Ultra or Echo Red Armor oil that both have additional fuel stabilizers. If you are still using crappy plastic fuel cans, that's a bigger problem than E0 vs E10 nonsense. All of my 4-stroke stuff has a fuel shut-off valve, if it didn't have one when I bought it then I installed one. I don't use the kill switch to shut down equipment before putting it away, I close the fuel valve and let it run until the carb runs out of fuel.

Well the gen showed up late yesterday. This morning after getting a new battery for the jeep and then having to make a doller store trip for the wife I finally got the thing unpacked and uncrated and styrophome free. I had to go get a qt of oil and was thrilled to find a few things like regulated lp hose, funnel, 12 volt wire with gater clips for battery charging and a few other goodies. Few more honey do' took up the evening so after reading the manual I will give it a trial tomorrow I'll try to get a few pics of the process but so far so good
