Yeah it's gonna exit every time.

So will a full metal jacket.

I just think there's a level somewhere below that where you can exit 99 out of a 100 and deliver MUCH more damage to the deer and thus have to track less if at all.

Yep, that one will happen. But like I've said a few times, I've spent more time following live deer bleeding from exit wounds from higher weight or slower bullets that this bullet would have killed immediately.

It's just another way of skinning that cat. So to speak. We all kill a lot of deer and are all convinced we've got it right most of the time or we wouldn't do it. And that's why I love these talks. I learn shite.

After discussing this with my buddies tonight drunk on a sail boat, I've decided the damage is the result of the return shock wave acting like a hand clap from opposite directions with SICK damage involved in the violence of that 'clap'. I think you get a shock cone that expands out then collapses back on itself like a fricking black hole of deer woopass and smacks all that shite with a shock wave coming from two directions on the recoil.

It's a lot of energy that must be expended. And nothing else at this point explains the squishiness of the entire gut cavity slapping back on itself like Les Miles really trying hard to feel it in his hands. Ballistic Tip employs satanic geometry obviously.

Seriously though, I doubt I could truly make you believe the level of damage inside that gut cavity.

The guts were ribbons. Intestines, pieces. Parts. All that other shite... gone. I gutted that doe by pouring her out.

Sounds interesting.

I've seen the wound cavities on yotes shot by varmint rounds. You talk about a gut soup. Holy crap!

I've shot yotes and bobcats with this round.

It's usually enough to convince you to take a head shot next time.
