Near the Canadian river. North of Cheyenne I believe.
Going in October for deer too.

GREAT area for turkeys. Cheyenne is right in Black Kettle National Grasslands which is some of the best turkey hunting in the country and the Canadian runs just north of there. Packsaddle WMA is just north of Black Kettle and is a good spot as well. I've never deer hunted out there but you're in mule deer and white tail country out that far west.

Yea I'm excited. The guide says they mainly kill whitetails but do have some mulies around.
I've been impressed with the number of turkeys they have killed already this season.
