Haven’t had an opportunity to go and look around since first weekend of teal. Did the hurricanes blow all the feed out or is it still looking good?

It’s not good. I’ve found grass in a couple places but it’s not good at all. Will be a typical storm year.... hard hunting. Fishing has turned on though.

I’ve heard Miss and Atch deltas are in bad shape feed wise. Brackish marsh where I hunt looks like it’s late Jan along edges of ponds where the saltwater sat. Stuff is crisp it’s burnt so bad. Did knock out the hyacinths, salvania and snails where floating everywhere.

Any chance they are seeing trout in river or spillways?
Thinking this little cool front may help with that, so I'm eyeing some vacation and a trip south to the promise land.
