Human piss is actually an attractant. I have killed deer over mock scrapes Ive pissed in, and I also will get a shite ton of pictures in mock scrapes that I piss in. Usually within one day bucks and does are flocking to it.
And I never actually thought anybody believed that shite about when cows are moving/eating then the deer are, thought it was a joke..

I think a deer will not be spooked by human piss unless he associates it with danger. Once he associates it with danger he will be proned to do that again in the future. Unfortunately we are walking around with piss on our fingers.

That's what I'm saying. They may not be scared of the piss itself, but if you're pissing around your stand, then the deer know you are frequenting that spot and avoid it. You know, that whole deer don't like us cause we kill and them so they don't want to hang out with us thing.

Different specie's urine def smells different. I feel it is safe to assume that when a new scent is introduced in their environment they can tell. Then they associate that new smell with getting shot at and there you go. Imagine getting kicked in the nuts everytime you smelled coffee for a week. You're gonna start guarding those nuts when you smell coffee, right?

If I ate and drank only organic shite then I wouldn't worry about the smell of my piss. Instead I drink beer, coffee, whiskey, and cool aid. That has to make my piss unique in the wild compared to other woodland creatures. Different enough to the point that a deer smells it he may say " hmm, I ain't never smelled that before." And his buddy says " I smelled that one time. Remember Chris that had that sweet drop tine? Yea well we smelled that the day that dude got shot". Then the other deer says "no shite?" Then he says "yea mane. Lets go the other way just to be safe."
Of course we won't hear this conversation and it will sound like a series of blows and snorts but ya'll get the point.
