No way any man gets more use out of 6k rounds than 50 in a real breakdown scenario except for using it as currency.

Nice to have a place to store shite if its well hidden. In all honesty better to stay mobile and live off the land. If you are going to prep for surviving the apocylapse it would be better to spend your money on classes that teach how to live off the land or a trade skill like blacksmithing and practicing these skills. All of it is a moot point for me because when I run out of Community coffee and cigaretts Im about done.

Only reason to need 1k rounds is if you were storing it at a remote location deep in the wilderness and need to survive for decades

I have several hand guns, rifles, and shot guns. I can probably fit all of "my ammo" in a shoebox or 2. But yet I have flipped over well over 20k rounds in the last 2 months.
I spent the 1st 500 bucks of my own money and now i am just rolling it over to buy more while sticking 25% in the bank. Absolutely no worry of "getting stuck" on my part. 1st off it is being paid for on "made" money and 2nd...I have several guns that shoot the calibers that I deal in. So worse case is that I end up with some FREE ammo.
