This is what I'm talking about. When will this line of thinking stop?

I have been monitoring availability, buying, selling, inventory levels (or lack there of) on several different calibers of ammo and I can assure you....it aint slowing down!

In the last 4 weeks alone, it has increased about 30% in prices and decreased about 40% in availability.

Now sure, you might be able to go find your 1 box limit of 20 rounds at Academy for the same price....but that aint what is driving the market. People dont want to drive for hours and stand in line for hours to "maybe" get a chance at picking up a box of 20...they would much rather pay 3xs the cost to just get it shipped to them at their house or to meet up with a seller. Until that changes..."sellers" will continue to buy and "the 2nd stage buyers" will continue to buy from them.

Still lots of customers?
My tally is up to 13 people I had to turn away because I am out of 7.62x39 ammo. Its getting worse IMO. A few weeks back, it took me 2-3 days to find 3 or 4 people to buy 2000 rounds worth of ammo. Now, I had 8 people just yesterday contact me asking if I still had any available.

Pretty much all of them came from those Facebook SE LA Gun sales groups. 3 came from BS.

7.62x39 ammo

The margins arent there on this stuff like it is on others but yeh...it is in demand is rising and I think that the price will start to go up on it.

Ive got 2k rounds that are being "processed" right now. I expect to average around 55 cpr or so on it.

You are right though, once you sell to a buyer....it is on!!! They basically want you to sell them everything you can get your hands on. I have several buyers that bought at (what I would consider to be high prices) that have come back for more and said "just let me know when you get it and I will take it"

Buy for $280, sell for $400. I could easily get $450 nowadays since I have people fighting over being the first one to contact me.

I may just try to buy 1000 rounds overpriced then sell half of it to make the money back.

20 magazines coming in soon and at least half of them are going up for sale.

There will always be buyers man. Worst case, you promote your items for a week or so before someone buys

Biggest problem is deciding to try to sell them on BS or see if I can get some yuppies to bid themselves up on GB.

Only thing I'm looking for right now are decent deals on 5.56/.223 and some Hornady Critical Defense rounds for my new XDS.
