Possibly looking into buying this. I know it's a little pricy but do anyone of yall own them? Pros? Cons? Anything else the OB thinks is better for the same amount of money?

USP are some serious weapons. IMO won't find a better polymer pistol.

Bought mine at Cabela's in April. I think I paid somewhere around 900 if I remember. Tax free weekend. Worth every penny.

It is currently residing between my right thigh and my middle console in my truck. Loaded with the hammer down.

Fine pistol... not a huge fan of polymer frames, but IWSI.

There are FN/Sigs with comparable components that are worth a look.

ETA: My opinion is based on the feel of the gun, not its function.

The FN45 is an awesome pistol but I think he'd have trouble finding one in his price range.

I had a USP 9, it didnt do anything better than my Glock 19.

It is a very nice pistol, they are big and thick.

I would look around for a used one, those USPs dont hold their value well and you can probably find a used one for $600

I guess I'm the minority but it's one of the best pistols being made right now. The new H&K are even better.

Get a HK45CT instead. It's the updated version of the USP. I sold mine to fund an AR build

I have tried to like them, but I don't like how they fit in my hand, and I have some big paws. I love my Glock 19

It is a great gun, just not $500 better than the S&W, Glock, Springfield etc equivalents.
