The only silver lining I can see in this is hopefully it will screw over some of the democrats in the next election.
I'm still very uncomfortable with this law being this close to being passed.
On up side, 10 more of my backordered mags shipped and it looks like they just went up in value.

What blows my mind is that they refer to "assault weapons" as high powered weapons of death and destruction, when on the contrary the .223 rifle caliber is miniscule compared to a 7mm Mag or 300win Mag. A round that loses the majority of it's kinetic energy after 200yds is hardly "high powered"

I know these people completly lack common sense, but I guess I'm still struggling with the realization that people actually CAN be that stupid to believe this shite. Growing up in a small town where everybody was armed 24/7/365 and shooting is like your national pass time, it's hard to wrap my thinking around that.

Nobody knows. Will the mags be grandfathered or will possession be illegal? Either way, it will take weeks, if not months, for it to pass. Plenty of time for you to take a boat ride.

Order 10 PMAGS a few months ago and Cabela's keep pushing it back. Shouldn't have sold it to me if it wasn't in stock.

I'm not sweating this. I lived through the AWB in the 90's. There was a frenzy and then things got back to normal.
