Don't keep your spare belts in the garage. The heat ruins the glue and they pop the first time you put the juice to 'em.

Good to know. Luckily mine is keep in a closet in the house. Whew. It could have been me.

I was just looking at mine this morning in the garage and thinking about all the belts that have popped in the last 6 months.

Went to use mine, opened the box of new belts that was about 4 years old...

Nary a one was any good...

Sure it's the heat and not the cold? I know my lower quality band saw "tires" regularly broke whenever the garage would get cold.

I'm not sure, but I'd guess heat.

I bought it in 2018, and then I got otherwise occupied with... other things.
