Shipping weapons from point A to point B w/o buying them from shipper? Ideas?
I asked a FFL dealer today and he pretty much laughed at me. Trying to save myself an 8 hour drive each way.
USPS and others get me nervous even if they're legal.

Without more info, all I can tell you is to ship from one FFL to another FFL.

From a guy who has done this a few times- and is related (very closely) to an FFL.
Person to Person is absolutely legal. You are correct in the 8 hour ride part- but it has to be IN YOUR STATE.
Shipping- via USPS, UPS, or FedEx is totally allowable. I understand that the counter person has the discretion to refuse it, or not. But that’s their right/prerogative/whatever.
If the seller goes to UPS, FedEx, whatever- IT MUST ship to an FFL for transfer to you. Unless it is in YOUR STATE- which is totally legal.
Link to ATF rules for non-licensees (you)

My experience for reference- My friend moves from SD to CA. He is a freedom loving man, and owned something not allowed in CA. I agreed to buy it from him. He mailed it TO MY FFL. I visited my FFL, we filled out a 4473 (just like I was buying a gun from him) he calls in a NICS background check, I cleared and walked out with my toy.
Here is a link you can search by Zip Code to find an FFL who will assist in receiving guns to transfer to you....
