Should I get a hedge trimmer or a chainsaw to cut Roseau’s and CDA bushes in the marsh?
About to order one. Help me out. Hedge trimmer worked but broke all the time. Does chainsaw compare?

Why not leave it alone and don't destroy the marsh?

Assuming it's too much area for a machete: Brushcutter on the weedeater for the cane and small wax myrtles. Bigger myrtles will need machete, axe, bow saw or chain saw.

hedge trimmers are designed to cut small flexible branches that move,
chain saws are designed to cut solid rigid logs
how is there even a question which is the right tool for the job
