I just received one as a gift. Haven’t had a chance to do much with it yet.
I got the V50 pro which is one step under the V50 Elite as their top model.
I watched a few reviews on YouTube which were all pretty good. Biggest negative seems to be the low light capability is not very good and their app doesn’t have great reviews.
They seem to be the top budget action camera as an alternative if you don’t want to drop $400 on a GoPro.

Advanced Electronic Image stabilization is one of the the main reasons for the big cost increase when upgrading to the V50 models.

earlier versions of go pros could be had pretty cheap and work great.

Dang, for that price it's worth a shot. Good reviews too. I go off of reviews on amazon. People are overly critical so if something has around 80% 4-5 star reviews I go for it.

Hell, for $75 I might have to try one. It's probably a lot better than my old Hero 2 or whatever it is a I have.
I'd get the one that does 60 fps. The videos will look much smoother. You might have to set it for 30 fps in low light though.

I bought this exact one for my daughter and she loves it. We used it this weekend snorkeling and the photos and videos look great. It's not bad little camera at all. Definitely worth the price.

Good to hear, I think I'll take my chances with it. Thanks
