Did any of you baws read these books back in the day?
They were probably my favorite as a child.
Those mischievous coyotes cresting the ridgeline always fascinated me. I used to daydream about catching a catfish in Wolf Creek.

Fond memories, Dad would read them to us and he had voices for each character. The author once came and spoke at my elementary school.

Used to go to the public library as a kid and listen to Erickson read them to us. I read them to my boys to this day.

Loved those books as a kid. Even named my first dog Hank. Coincidentally, I later lived in Perryton, TX, same county where the books take place, and always figured I’d bump into either Erickson or Holmes. Very small TX Panhandle town lol. Their “studio” was just down the road from where I worked. Never did, at least knowingly. Erickson has a big ranch in that area. Knew a few people who were friends with Holmes. They all said he was a great person.
