Be careful ordering ammo on Gunbroker. Recently purchased some ammo. Add was for 270 WSM 130gr Winchester ballistic silvertips. Received 270 WIN. Customer service claims I got what I ordered. Had the whole search filtered on caliber. I’m certain that’s what was advertised. Live and learn. Guess I’ll try to resell them cheap.

Just go to your account and check the original listing. It sounds like he miss clicked the category, and you didn't read the listing closely enough. If so, shame on both of you, but a good seller would take them back, but I would expect shipping to be on you

It was Firearms Depot. When I look on my account it shows 270 Win, so I guess it’s my own fault. I had it filtered to WSM so I don’t know how those showed up. If anyone wants them cheap let me know. I’m in Cenla.

Gunbroker is great at archiving transactions. They are NOT so great with the search function, you need to read each and every transaction. The seller should have offered a refund minus shipping/fees just to be a decent business, but those are few and far between these days. Probably cheaper for the buyer to just sell at that point though and is what I would do.

Almost had a similar situation happen the other day to me. I searched “365-380-BSS” (the p365 without the safety). The gun pops up and it’s a picture of the one I wanted, no safety. Paid for it and went to the store for pickup…. Got almost completely through with the paperwork before I realized it had the safety on there. They had the wrong picture… I should have read the fine print, but luckily caught it before walking out the door.
