I'm curious what the actual rules / laws are to use golf carts / Polaris rangers on the beach at grand isle. Have crew renting beach house and may bring down Polaris or golf cart if what I'm told it's allowed now days. Would be kinda cool to put down the beach to Artie's for frozen beverages or even Mobil surf fishing unit.

You can use golf carts but you have to have it registered with the city. They issue you a permit/sticker for the cart once you pay up and give you all the rules to follow.

Rolling to Artie's in a golf cart is the only way to roll brah.

That kinda money times the number of golf carts I see on the island makes me think they should be able to keep the beach in better shape. It has slowly degraded over the past 10 yrs. makes me sick.

$75 a Cart isn't going to reverse the constant wave and wind actions affecting the beach

No but it should at least help replenish the BBQ pit cash box at the police station.

Supposed to be electric only, but as many have said, enforcement is light.
