The POST course is 60 rounds. Inside silhouette is one point, inside center circle is 2pts. Must score 94 out of 120 possible to pass.

12 rounds from 25 yards

The rest from 15 yards or closer

I completely agree with your dad. I've seen numerous girls shoot lights-out on their first visit. Granted, not all of them can do it, but the ones that take their time usually hit bullseye after bullseye.

I had to get over my stubborn habit of thinking the sights were off on my first visit. I handed the gun to my dad who hit the red on every shot, "Yea, it's just you..." Chapped my arse but taught me that the only reason I was shooting like crap was me.

Most guys like to hear the boom and are antsy. I was definitely that way when I first started shooting. It's taken forever to limit my flinch. It still comes up frequently and testing your ability to tame it is the true test.

I think I would turn the gun on myself after 2.5 hours

I love to shoot but after a while I get to where I've had enough

A Lot of it was instruction. Didn't seem like it at all.
