He's done some good work for me in the past, as well. Prices are reasonable and turn around quick. I'd advise that you call ahead of time to be sure he's open that day, despite the hours listed on his website. 3-4 mos ago I drove there on hour to drop off an XP-100 to have the muzzle threaded for a suppressor. Unfortunately, he was closed. I then drove 20 min to Clark's in Haughton and they took care of the job. Clark's is good, but pricey. In addition, their machinist is there only on Tuesdays so I had to leave the gun there for him to do the work a few days later. If you go to Clark's and like Ruger 10/22's you might to bring a few extra $$$$'s w/ you. They had >20 custom 10/22's on display. The most expensive one was $2500.
