That’s the argument GOA will make when they bring forward the lawsuit next year.
Well I’m grateful they’re doing it but I’ll probably just fork over the $200 until then. Sons of b*tches.

i posted this on the poli-board last night.
according to Mike Johnson, there's going to be 2 more reconciliation bills. one in Fall of '25 and Spring of '26. i wonder if GA Rep. Andrew Clyde will introduce amendments to bring the price of the machinegun/destructive device down to $0.

How fast do we anticipate the lawsuit to move through the courts? With the 90 day or January 1st date I see floating around, I want to know how fast I can buy the shorty.

Will atf still recognize ar pistols and rifles? Can I just buy a short upper for my rifle lower?
If it was bought assembled from the factory as a 16” rifle it’s always a rifle and you have to register it to put a shorter upper on it.
If it was bought separately as a built lower and a built 16” upper and you just snapped them together is not a rifle and you can put a pistol brace on and a shorter upper and not have to register it.
It’s really dumb…

I meant to add after the lawsuit, sorry for lack of context. Say GOA wins and they are off the NFA. Will it be that all ar lowers are treated the same, not this pistol/rifle nonsense?
