Got a meyer lemon a couple weeks ago, transplanted to a larger planter. Tree looks great but the leaves have begun to roll up like so. Any ideas of what is causing this? Just the stress of repotting? I don't believe it is overwatered, we had a good rain but that’s about all the water it has received. Soil still feels moist a few inches deep but not soaked by any means. Appreciate any insight/tips

Do the leaves feel brittle?

That could be just be stress to heat once replanted

After googling some images I believe you are right, I’ll try a more shaded area for a few days and see. Thanks fellas

So both my better boy and roma plants all of a sudden grew new blossoms just when I was ready to pull them out of the soil. Guess I will wait to pull them and see if I can get a few extra tomatoes before starting my fall crop. Anyone else have new flowers on their plants?

I have a Sweet 100 plant that's doing very well and continually producing new blossoms. I have BHN 1021 and a Better Boy too, but neither are making new flowers.
I'm building a fence planter box for herbs this weekend. Going to make it 1'x1'x8'. I also got some Mohawk pepper seeds and if I can get them started well, I'm going to put a couple of those plants in the box for the fall in addition to some little bush tomato. Anybody got any good suggestions for a small box tomato plant?

My better boy hybrids from burpee (not sure if they have their own or it’s all the same) never stopped producing flowers. They were marked as an indeterminant heat tolerant variety which is why I got them. Fruit is still setting on almost all blossoms but is growing very slowly. Not sure if that’s the heat or some other issue but the plants look healthy and are covered in flowers. I didn’t do any determinants but I’m going to let them ride until they give out.

I've been picking a few pounds of tomatoes daily. Noticed the new blossoms as well. Green beans and peppers have been steady too. I have a few rows of onions I'm about to pull up and hang. Going go back with some okra and see what happens.
Bug activity is on the upswing for sure. Been hesitant to spray with having to pick daily.

Capt when did you plant your onion bulbs or did you start from seed? Mine aren't even close to harvesting.

My cucumbers are doing great! I've shelved about 19 jars of Bread and Butter pickles.
However, my tomato plants have struggled. The leaves have all curled up and the fruit won't turn.

Last few years I've been planting slips I get from walmart. They make beautiful onions. I plant them in march.

Nice. I bought my bulbs from Lowe's and they aren't close to being ready to harvest. Do you add any fertilizers? How often do you water them?

I've never had any success with bulbs. Its my understanding you need to plant slips or start from seed to get an onion. I spray URAN down top of rows a couple times while they are growing. Only problem is it ends up migrating to adjacent rows and causes plants to bolt.

There's my problem. You ever grow them in the fall?

Just got back from vacation and picked a bunch of tomatoes and threw away a bunch as well. Also, half my plants have fallen over. Must have gotten a lot of rain while I was gone.

Over the last week I’ve had a tomato explosion.
Since I’m moving next week, I decided to just blanch, peel, and freeze. After we move I’ll make some paste and salsa.
