23 hours of block sanding later and the hull is as fair as I’m capable of getting it.

It doesn't have stringers, interior glass, or the cap yet.

ETA: Fully built he will probably be around 350lbs

You have those twins helping with sanding yet?

I imagine they are eating up all of your boatbuilding time.

Twins not quite there yet lol. Honestly I need to get a crew together to flip the boat. There’s definitely time that I could be working on the inside now I just need to get it turned over.

Got her flipped over and strongback modified to make it more of a workable height.

Getting it straight was a pretty long process but I don’t think I’ll be glassing in any wonky curves to it so I’m happy.

It’s crazy how big the boat feels flipped over.

You might find a multi-directional laser shooting across the top to be of some help. It'll be a big help in checking the deadrise. And a single beam excels as a center line.

Yeah not pictured but that’s what i mostly used and had the level as a backup. If you follow on Instagram I post updates to my stories way more often and I go into a decent amount of detail.

Been watching the progress here.

Mine are a bit smaller: (from last winter)

a male mold in progress for a one off

the result - you can see inside where the top and bottom are glassed/seamed together
