I never been before but i figured what the hell its for St. Jude so ill put my money in for that cause and worse come to worse beer will be drank and food will be cooked.

No Blind River Bar host a garfish rodeo this time each year. Big gar is $1000.00

10 fish limit

1st- $1000.00
2nd- $500.00
3rd- $250.00

Weight in is sunday and fish must be edible at weight in. After weight in the fish are cleaned and cooked. All benefits go to St. Jude.

If i meant tarpon rodeo it would have said tarpon rodeo

Just heard that nobody was catching much at all, then all of a sudden a guy shows up late and within a few hours has a huge fish. And that he had just showed up from being way down south. Not saying it's not all possible, just heard it was fishy indeed.

I dont doubt it, im sure there is some cheating going on but im just going for the cause, i may try to shoot some with my bow but i doubt i even do that ima probably just drink and cook and donate my money. Id rather bowfish than set jugs anyway

Just keep in mind you can't weigh anything not caught on a jug. It must have a leader in it's mouth.

Thats news to me, i was told you can set jugs or bowfish as long as the fish was edible at weigh ins.. Oh well guess it,ll be beer drinking and pot stirring for me for the weekend lol

That may be true for BRB rodeo, but at the Gator's den and Madisonville rodeo you have to have a leader in the mouth.

Is it back at BRB? Last year it was at Manny's. I assumed it was there again this year. We prepping now either way.

I thought BRB was flooded and burned.
