Front-End Leveling Kit

If the highest point of your truck is currently lets say 80 inches, does a 2-inch front-end leveling kit actually actually raise the highest point of your truck to 82 inches?
I will hang up and listen.

No. Because the highest point of your truck is somewhere around the middle to maybe 2/3 favoring the front of the truck it will lift it less than two inches. Probably anywhere between 1”-1.5”

My 2.5" leveling kit was actually about a 1.75" spacer. But because of the way it changes the geometry of the front end, it did indeed raise the front 2.5". Measure from the center of your wheel hub to the bottom of fender.

A leveling kit typically is put on the front end because the rear end sits higher due to shocks in the back. It will lift the front end up bringing it level with the back end. It doesn't raise the whole truck.

its a misnomer, it is a 2" lift that removes the "rake" or slant that trucks have to improve gas mileage by reducing drag.
so a leveling kit is just a 2" front lift kit
so a leveling kit is just a 2" front lift kit

Everyone above is correct. Here are some pictures for reference.
This is my Jeep with a 2 inch lift on the front before putting the 1 inch in the back.

I thought the rake was to offset when you put a load on the bed or haul a trailer. Then it "levels" out?

Put Bilsteins on the front. That will give you enough lift

Assuming the highest point is between the tires it will come up some amount less than 2" depending how far it is from the front tire

Baw, the only time them baws fill their truck is when they pick up their other baws and go to Cabelas to buy Baw stuff.

I just put in a Mopar 2 inch lift on my Jeep and it actually netted a hair over 3 inches of total lift and perfectly leveled it. Noticably more lift in front than back so I would say every lift or leveling kit will be different.
