Random field off of I-49 before the Ville Platte Exit 40. More than I've seen in years. Mostly snows, but lots of Canadians mixed in. Guess this cold front pushed em down.

Saw the same flock there (near Ville Platte) on the East side of I-49 Sunday on the way home from our deer lease near Ft Polk.

used to hunt off Gold Dust Loop Rd in that area....finally got priced out of the market once connected people found out the ducks and geese we were killing there...

I travel I-49 LAF - Alex weekly. Every year around the first cold front, geese will cover those same fields to rest and consume food (MM 42). Within 2-3 days they'll be gone. Have also seen flocks of geese in mid to late January following additional cold fronts. Have stopped on side of road to watch the geese flying/hovering and doing flips. IIRC, AlxTgr has duck hunted that property
